My hair dying experience today. FAIL.

Been wanting to dye my hair but just couldn't find the right time to do so. After consulting my brother and wathcing videos on YouTube and reading reviews about the Garnier Nutrisee hair dye that I bought quite some time back, I decided today was the perfect day to do so.

And so after waiting for 25 minutes for the colour to develop, my hair turned out to be darker than my natural hair colour was. It was practically jet black. The colour that I used was Cappucino, which is supposedly Dark Golden Brown. It was dissappointing and when I've rinsed my hair and found that my hair doensn't match the colour which was supposed to be, I threw away the box and everything else. Except for a pack of the conditioner and the instructional guide. It was just so jet black that even when I stood against the natural sun, it was totally black. Unlike my natural hair, at least it was slighty brownish. So much for wanting a lighter coloured hair.

My boyfriend told me to wait till my hair is all dried up so that I can tell the colour better. Well, in my opinion it was just much blacker then before. Maybe there are some hints of dark brown but it is just not obvious at all. You couldn't even tell a difference if you were to compare because there really isn't any difference but maybe just blacker that's all.

I felt slightly pissy initially but I'm feeling neutral about it now. I don't care.
