Spent my Saturday with my beloved boyfriend. I miss him alot and we turn 16 months on Thursday. Met my love at Yishun first and headed to Dhoby Ghaut.
The time just passes by very slowly as we're walking around The Cathay and sitting outside under the sun to kill time (with so many temptations). It was only 6pm and decided to make a move and walked to POMO and also Parkmall. There was a Book Fair (again) there and I just cannot resist because I love to search for books from my favourite authors and get it at a cheap price. And then unexpectedly, there was a heavy downpour! Plus it was almost 7 already.
We quickly paid for our purchases and I started to think I should have carried my tote bag instead which would definitely contain my brolly. Panicked, we headed to 7-11 just outside of Parkmall and got an umbrella, without knowing that there was actually an overhead bridge from POMO to the other side of the road, where Rex was located. I just felt like knocking my head for being so Kanchiong and my bf's 6 bucks for the umbrella. But at least we get to make use of it for like a few minutes that doesn't have shelter leading to Rex.

And it wasn't long before our food came!

We ordered our fave cereal prawn, sambal kangkong and our all time fave hotplate tofu, which wasn't pictured. I'm feeling hungry all over again typing these out! The fact that the food was really good and I was really hungry, I had like another 3/4 of extra rice!
After the satisfying meal, we headed back to The Cathay for Gong Cha and just sat outside.

And guess what we bumped into?!

These blue little creatures playing soccer at night! Haha!
