birthday

Been wanting to put on this Hello Kitty Sexy Look face mask on a special occasion so I finally get to put it on my Birthday eve!

Treated my beloved parents to dinner at Fig & Olive the night before my birthday.

And this was on my actual day. The night before, my man gave me 3 choices of where I want to eat. Seoul Garden sounds the best to me! He cooked most of the meat for the both of us and all I do was just taking it and eating away. So nice to be eating something spicy and hot. And fortunately, the weather was kinda cold and rainy so it was just nice. We ate for about 2 hours, very satisfying!

The reveal of the GIFT! He's been hinting me all this while and kept me puzzled over the gift. I honestly didn't think of receiving this Instax mini as my birthday gift from him. Super surprised! Not only that, it came with 5 films, batteries, a photo album, a separate lens as well as the sling bag! Everything was so me, he knows me so well!

My first polaroid of the day with new new Instax!

The cutie paper bag that my man carried for the whole day :)

My cute Birthday card!

So after our hearty meal, we wanted to chill out at Esplanade. But when we arrived there, it started to drizzle and rain. The next surprise for me was actually visiting Gardens By The Bay. Since it was raining, we couldn't possibly walk to the place. We went back to get on the Circle Line instead. But I swear, it was so confusing and difficult to locate the nearest Circle Line, which was Esplanade station. I still cannot get over the fact that, everything seems to be so near to one another, but it's actually very, very far. To cut a long story short, we finally arrived at our destination! The place was very nature inspired and calming too.

Quite a lot of tourist obviously and the queue to purchase the tickets was rather long, however it was moving rather fast and we got our tickets in. And oh, my man's SAFRA card was came in very handy today.

We went inside the FLower Dome to view the beautiful and magnificent plants and flowers which can be found in countries like Australia, South America and such. The place was fully air conditioned, making it a more pleasant experience. Below are some snapshots from the flower dome.

We tried so many times to take a shot with the Flyer in the background. Still Fail.

And since we entered the Flower Dome at about 6 plus, it starts to get dark soon after. This was my man's second visit to this place and of course he knows this place better than me. We went up to the second floor, where not many people were aware of.

I love the view and lighting from the top view. And those are the Baobabs. Which sort of look like a Heart or a butt lol. We spent about an hour or so in the Flower Dome and I loved it. I think the whole place is more beautiful at night even though you can't really observe the flowers and all accurately as it can be rather dark and also the orangey lightings. But in all, the place was beautiful.

So we went on the Cloud Forest next. My man has been telling me of how cool this place was and finally I'm here. And I agree!
Check out the waterfall!!!

We went all the way up to the highest floor to the Lost World and made our way down. It's kind of like jungle trekking and when I when I say it was the highest floor, it was really very high. Very thrilling to look down when you walk!

The Waterfall view was the highest and we walked our way down. It was very interesting to see and learn some things at each level we were at. The feeling was pretty real too as you can feel the cold wind blowing and stuff like that as the experience walking here was like a re creation of the actual place like maybe a mountain top with waterfall. It was amazing!
You can see things such as this beautiful crystal along the way too.

So after all of the exploring, we made our way out of the Garden. Our legs were very tired and all we felt like doing was to sit and rest. Initially, we planned to walk back to Esplanade but we thought it was too far so we stopped by MBS for a while. We also thought that we can take Circle Line from Bayfront to Buona Vista but sadly, it was a 43 mins ride which is actually very, very far. And not to mention that Bayfront station was also very, very far from MBS. But it's alright, cus we finally reached City Hall 45 minutes later from MBS. Lol.

Even though I had like a total of 5 films, we only finished up 1 pack of it and about 2 more film from another pack.

Fun day out with my man. I cannot even find the word to thank him and show him how much I appreciate his effort for everything that he had done. All I know is that, I cherish every moment that we spend together and blessed to have him as mine.
