Saturday was the open house for my to-be workplace. I am in love with the spacious environment with the many different facilities. What's more, since it's a brand new center, of course everything is brand new. Apart from that, all the resources are already there for you. I do have mixed feelings however. I mean from the expectations or maybe workload and the quality of work. Well, I'm sure I can do this.

After work, met up with my man on the super scorching hot day for a movie date. Headed to The Cathay and since we had only about an hour before the movie starts, we had some finger foods especially for my man who was so hungry as he didn't had anything since morning. We caught Hansel & Gretel: The Witch Hunter. Awesome movieeee! It's violent and gory. The storyline was simple and easy to follow. It's quite typical in the sense that, the Heroes are always the strongest and all and obviously they always win in the end kind of movie. The effects and all were great and I love looking at the witches even though it's freaky and scary looking. Overall, I would highly reccomend this movie to everyone above the age of 16 haha it's NC16. Awesome movie not to be missed!

After the movie, we headed to Plaza Singapura for dinner, but most places were full house with mad long queues thus we decided to go to our fave shop, Daiso. I went crazy over their Caramel corn and all. We then had our dinner at Secret Recipe, even though my man kind of hate the place ever since our recent NYE dinner at another outlet. We both had their Tom Yam Spaghetti and Frosty Lychee. Surprisingly, the food was not bad and he loves it. We had cakes after that, Strawberry marshmallow cheesecake for me and Chocolate fudge for him. Mine was yummy in my opinion but the Chocolate fudge was a bit disappointing. My man kept on saying "Fika's cakes are still the best". Haha I agree, just like their juicy, tender meatballs too.
