So it's already Friday which marks the end of the second week of the new year. As cliché as it sounds, time passes really, really fast. I've been enjoying my time staying at home thus far. Not to mention, proper home cooked and yummy meals and not so much of physical activities. The only active thing I did was cleaning my room/house almost on a daily basis.

My man did give me wake up calls in the starting of the month and I'd go for a morning jog. Unfortunately, I had sore throat just a few days into the new month. It was really painful and I contemplated on whether I should go to the doctor, considering that I had bad histories of tonsillitis. Only after a week I made up my mind to go. Turned out I had throat infection. It's funny that I was having the time of my life at home yet I contracted this infection yet again.

Not only that, had dinner with my girlfriends one night and our restaurant was just beside the freezing ice-skating rink. Dressed only in a short sleeved blouse and jeans, I was shivering to the bones! Luckily my friend had a cardigan which she lend me for the night but I was still shivering. Upon getting home, all I want was a hot shower to defrost myself. While I was on the phone with my man, I felt cold and was literally shivering really bad. I wore my jacket, switched off the fan (which is funny cus I need the fan so that I can sleep), shut the windows, wore socks and covered myself in my blanket. I was feeling super duper ill, I have never felt like this before. Checked my body temperature, 38.9 degrees. Weird that I remembered waking up in the middle of the night, taking off the jacket and socks, switched on the fan but only with the blanket on and went back to sleep as I was feeling rather warm. Guess I wasn't being defrosted thoroughly enough. But I was glad it wasn't something serious or anything.

Now I'm still on my antibiotics even though my throat has recovered. My body is weird and has a super weak immune system I guess. Anyway, I'm just glad that everything has been alright and I can go out with my man tomorrow for a feast at Seoul Garden!! Cannot wait for that!
