I know.. I know... I haven't been regularly updating my blog these days. Been caught up with school. Just feeling a bit lazy, a bit tired, a bit uninspired. I'm really missing and rather be working I feel. Enough of excuses from me, I shall start blogging about my weekend now!

2 Saturdays ago, I wanted to catch the Mummy exhibition at the ArtScience Museum so my man and I headed there.

It was worthwhile if you are interested to know more about how Mummies are actually being wrapped and buried and all. Unlike the Titanic exhibition, there was an interval timings to enter for this one. Most probably because there was a short 3D film upon entering first. The effects were awesome and it is informative too. However, they only concentrated on one particular mummy only. After that, it's free and easy to walk around  and look at the artefacts.

Anyway, let's get on about FOOD. As always we always have lunch together first before continuing on with our agenda for the day. We had Fika for lunch, my man had Panbiff and I had the grilled chicken. He was so  happy that his Pear Cider is back too!

The best part of the day was that we get to see the NDP rehearsals. NOT! Baybeats was actually going on that weekend too. But we're too old for that kind of stuff already you know. But I know that Macbeth had a booth there selling shoes and as my man was actually looking for Macbeth shoes we went to check it out. The shoes were selling at low prices that he bought 2 pairs and I also bought myself 1 hehe. Thanks to him for going the extra mile by carrying those 3 shoe boxes, without any carrier all the way back to Lakeside. Can't forget that night!

This Saturday, was a more laidback one. We came across a Thai place called Jai Thai which is at Dhoby Xchange. It was quite impromptu as we actually planned to eat at Rex. But when my man wanted to go to the ATM we passed by it and we decided to give it a go.

We had a set consisting of 4 satisfying sides and a plate of pineapple rice. It comes with drinks and also jelly. All for only $8.80! The portion of rice seemed little at first, but it was actually just nice as we had quite a bit of everything to try. We ordered another dish called minced chicken beancurd (I forgot the name) and I loved it!! We changed our drinks to Thai iced milk tea and ordered mango glutinous rice too. Such a filling meal!

We then headed to the Cathay for Despicable Me 2 after that. Funny and entertaining movie it was!

On another note, Ramadhan is approaching in about.... 1 more day!? Happy Fasting everybody!
