This semester's vacation had been really a good one. Started off with the Genting trip and now ending it off a trip to JB's KSL City. I have been to the mall once when it was newly opened, but this time round I was with my man and my great buddies for a stay at the hotel as well.
Good thing that the crowd wasn't mad and our journey on the Sunday morning was smooth. It took us about 45 minutes to arrive in JB and get over the customs. First thing upon arriving, we headed to City Square Mall to hunt for food. It was quite an impromptu plan and decided to have our early lunch at a place called El Migos.
We we spoilt for choices and decisions were hard to make cus all sounded equally appetizing. We passed our plates around so we had a bite of each and boy, it was all so delicious! Or maybe cus we were all very hungry. Despite encountering an unpleasant surprise in Nurul's dish (chicken fur? hair?), I highly recommend the place still! Nurul's dish was FOC due to the encounter too.
Next stop was Watson's, where Nurul and I went crazy for a bit since the stuff there were cheaper to my surprise. Got myself some makeup for a super good bargain!
We took a cab from the Taxi Counter and we paid a flat rate of RM11 to KSL. Slightly more expensive as we can actually get a cab off the roads and the cost will be about RM5, from my experience. But for convenience and safety sake, it's alright. Plus it's not that expensive too after converting to SGD anyways.
Checking-in was a breeze and the service was nice and friendly. We got a non-smoking superior room on the 20th floor on Tower 2.
Headed back out shortly after unpacking and going crazy. We also walked under the scorching hot sun to another old mall for customized tees and a cheap and good massage package for Nurul.
It was almost dinnertime then, so we headed to Seoul Garden!
Wanted to look for nice shoes, but sadly I didn't find anything which I fancied. Ended the night by again going crazy with a karaoke session.
Day 2 was us sleeping in and then packing up to check-out. Been wanting to have Subway so we had our lunch there and we also got a few more to bring back home. I got another 3 foot longs and cookies home. It was basically a day where we spent our money on food as though we've never seen food before haha.
Journey back home was also quick and smooth. Got a cab from the counter of the hotel for a flat rate of RM 12 this time. All in all, it was a nice getaway just to leave our daily hustle and bustle for a while.
