And yes, exams are over and vacation is here!!! I am so used to thinking about assignments and group projects so much that it feels odd that I have no school work to do. It does feel good and I feel so carefree though because now is the time where I can actually relax and enjoy without any distractions.
Right after my last paper on Friday, my friends and I headed to Seoul Garden Hotpot for our so-called celebratory lunch cum end of year 1! Been wanting to have their hotpot ever since I last dined there with my man few weeks back because all I ever felt like having was their bibim bap. So I finally had their marinated beef hotpot. The kimchi goodness and all, really satisfied my taste buds!
Yesterday, my man and I attended a wedding of his (or can I also say mine too?) old friend/classmate. It was like a small reunion for him and his old friends. I also bumped into one of my old secondary school friend, Farah who was with the groom's side at the wedding. Honestly, I feel like the older you get, the smaller the world is. Everybody seems to be related, know, or are friends with somebody apparently. Or maybe, it's proven that Singapore is really that small.
After that, we headed to the Cathay to watch Lone Survivor. The movie was based on a true story. Really worth watching and my man loved it a lot. Probably because he can relate to it since he has served the army before and experienced the camaraderie. Well as for me, it was a rather touching movie despite all the killings and blood going on. It really moved me. Words cannot describe the movie any further than saying you just gotta watch it for yourself.
So that was how I spent my post-exam weekend.
Today I am just chilling at home, cleaning up a bit here and there. I have another three more days of freedom before I start working again.
Times like this just makes me feel for some good ol' retail therapy and let my inner shopaholic let loose. Just yesterday I had bought some lip products from nyx and a mascara from Sephora. There are a lot more things on my to-buy list actually. Some are just wants I have to admit, but some are what I really am in need. Hopefully I won't go on a crazy spree this vacation. Especially since I am going out with Nisa tomorrow.

Till next time!
Ciao!
