If you were to ask me what is my favourite day of the week? It has got to be Fridays. I just love Fridays because to me it is such a chill out and laid back day. Especially knowing that weekends is around the corner and I get to see my man the next day. Just like the other odd days, Fridays is one of my pamper nights too, as in beauty wise.
Earlier during the day, I attended school which was rather pointless as it was only for one tutorial class. After which, I headed for lunch at Jurong Point with my classmate for Korean food. Had a craving for kimchi fried rice initially, but when I saw that it cost 7 freaking bucks, just from a normal foodcourt, I changed my mind. So freaking overpriced please! I decided to go with chicken rameyon instead, which was also a rip off too since it was practically like instant noodles with some frozen chicken. Never going to eat at that stall again. Such a let down.
Had a nice nap when I got home and had dinner and finally indulged in the red velvet cheesecake which I bought from Cake Spade on Wednesday. It was my first encounter with a red velvet cheesecake and I just had to buy it home and it was so worthwhile. Just from that one short visit to the cafe, I have tried 3 of their cakes and 2 of their brownie bars and I have to say that it was all amazing!! I am not into the cafe-hopping trend, but this cafe gets two thumbs up from me nonetheless.
Actually, I am supposed to be studying for the upcoming exams, which is just next week by the way, but was in the mood to blog, hence the rather long post. Well, I shall get on with my revisions now before I pamper myself with a nice face mask and all that jazz.
Happy weekends, ciao!
