As I'm typing out this entry, I am sitting in the living room, with the fan blasting, curtains closed and with a glass of ice cold water beside me. Unfortunately, weather has not been very good. Scorching hot, super sunny and very dry. This is definitely not my favourite type of weather. Such a pity to see all the greenery in the surroundings turning brown and dry. It seems almost dead because it has not been raining for a rather long time now.
Now, forget about the weather. I will continue to pray and hope for a better weather soon.
Monday I met up with Nisa and took a trip to town. Our outfits of the day!
We headed to Lucky Plaza first for lunch at Ayam Bakar Ojolali. I think I had the ayam bakar set and we shared the gado-gado, because it has been a very long time since I had it. The food was actually very good and very filling as well. And as for the drink, coincidentally you can guess which is mine just by the colour!
Since there was alot of Filipino minimarts in Lucky Plaza, I decided to check out if they sell Polvoron and I bought some straight away. Following that, Nisa also jumped on my bandwagon and we bought and shared another box of Polvoron. We headed to Starbucks to rest for a while before we went to Jurong East.
So I had another 2 days at home before I start work at TLC again. So glad that I bought these junks to accompany me for the day.
Finally the weekend kicked in and I met my man yesterday! I overlooked his text message saying that he wanted to eat at Seoul Garden buffet and I went ahead to book movie tickets by myself. Hence, the plan was tweaked a little.
We had buffet at Sakura yesterday!!!
Supposed to meet at 12 noon, but I was kind of late (which is quite rare of me). When we reached Sakura, we got to know that we have only 1 and a half hour to stuff ourselves! So we quickly attacked the food by taking all the good stuff that we wanted before devouring. So proud of myself that I managed to eat very fast actually. No surprise why there isn't any pictures to go along this paragraph because we were too busy and concentrated on eating. We ended off everything with yummy ice creams. My man actually had 2 rounds of the ice cream by the way.
After the extremely heavy lunch, both of us were filled to the brim. We headed to Cineleisure to collect the movie tickets to Non-Stop and just stone outside the cinema watching movie trailers for about half an hour.
The movie was very goood too I must add. The reason why I chose the movie over Vampire Academy initially was because of Ah Liam Nee Soon (inside joke!). It's not really an action movie, probably suspense thriller. It kept me guessing throughout the whole time and actually, I couldn't even guess anybody to the suspect!
So that's about it this time. Ciao!
