With a blink of an eye, there goes a half of semester one. The two weeks break is starting but that doesn't mean I can let my hair down just yet. This will definitely be the time where I need to get going with all the learning corner activities, the pile of assignments and maybe... some revision if the time permits (or if I don't procrastinate that is).

So to kick off the semester break, my classmates and I headed to Star Vista for some NeNe chicken right after our first lecture. I really didn't have high hopes for the place. Furthermore, I thought it was just some Korean fast food chain selling fried chicken. The outlet was rather tiny too I must add. However, all those were forgiven once I tried their Freaking Hot set meal. Again, I didn't expect it to be really hot, but just one bite proved me wrong and my tongue was already burning. Damn, it really was freaking hot! Overall it was a good meal and really gave that spicy kick which was just awesome!

The following day, I met up with my man right after he attended a wedding of his friend. We had lunch of yong tau foo and caught How to train your dragon 2. Can't remember if I've watched the first part before but I shall give the benefit of doubt and watch it on fox movie on mio very soon to recall.

But the best part of the day was something I bought for myself. Yes, I know I have yet to buy my boyfriend his gift. But I really needed it! It's a beautiful black faux leather wallet with a rose gold roxy logo! It's just so beautiful. It was love at first sight! When I saw it I knew it was mine! Wait till you hear this part, the wallet was on 10% off but since I can pay using masters, there was an additional 5% off! I knew it was meant for me then. Rose gold has got to me my current obsession. Well, black and gold will always be my number one love and I will never forget that, but rose gold has stolen my heart now.

Moving on, it has been a while since I wanted to try and cook chicken rice. I am no pro at cooking I admit. But I don't mind learning how to cook. So this morning I had just whipped it up although not entirely from scratch. I cheat my way through. Have yet to eat it though since I am still full from the meal I had at the wedding earlier today. Hopefully it turns out okay. Well, there is always a first time from everything isn't it? And that's the way how we learn.

Hmm, now what shall I try to cook next?
