My man and I had been watching horror movies for the past 2 weeks! Last week was a Taiwanese horror movie "Tag Along", which claimed to be based on true events. Let me tell you it gives me the chill, and honestly, I covered my eyes for like half the time.
Yesterday was that highly anticipated movie "The Boy". The trailer for that one was just so creepy. I mean any horror movie that involves some sort of a "doll" just gives me the creeps. I find this one does give me the chills, throughout the entire movie. Until the end, when it was actually more of a psychopath killer type instead. It was still creepy though, that mask and the voice. However, I just find that it wasn't that "ghost" kind of scary as compared to "Tag Along".
Besides scary the hell out of ourselves yesterday, my man treated us to a meal at our fave place, Earle Swensens. Decided to go for something different, instead of the usual Earle's Poultry, which was our fave too. Well, my man had to have that while I had a more demure option of salmon and fries. We then had Ben & Jerry's while we sat outside in the scorching heat.
As for today, I felt pretty good. Completed my action research paper, the journal entry, and did a powerpoint presentation for tomorrow. All done and printed! It always feels unmanageable until you actually complete everything. That sense of accomplishment is soooo good.
Been eating way too much junk today to accompany me through all these shit. Have to stop myself from reaching our from that bar of Cadbury beside me. I'll probably get some rest now and must really get my butt off to do some pilates thereafter.
xx
